    • Now you can use the 4500W Stainless Steel ultra-low watt density heating elements in your kettle whether you want to brew 5 or 10 gallons.  This is the best combination of watt density and material available on the planet for your boil kettle.  You can "turn it up to 11" until you reach a boil, and then dial it back to exactly what you want.  For larger brewing systems, this unit will control elements up to 6000W.

    Pictured with heat pigtail plugged into Heat receptacle (manual heat control).  The pump would plug into the Pump receptacle for manual control.  Ranco controllers plug into the respective receptacles for thermostatic control of the pump and heat, and the pump and heat pigtail would then plug into the controllers.

    Review Comments: I had the old style EBC that I used on the Mini Brew build your own brewery. It was great but I wanted to boil with some control using electric. I called High Gravity and spoke with Dave, he was very helpful. I got the EBC II back very fast. It is such a slick piece of equipment. Using a 4500W ultra low density heating element from High Gravity, I can bring my converted keg to a boil in no time then back the power down to keep a perfect rolling boil.     Review Comments: I used to brew using natural gas, but started using the Build Your Own electric brewery a couple years ago. I just upgraded my EBC to the EBC II to see if I could minimize or control the amount of evaporation loss. I also upgraded my brewpot from 3500 watts to 4500 watts. The first time I used the EBC II with the 4500 watt element, I nearly had a boilover, but was able to turn down the juice in enough time to avoid a big mess.
